History

      St.Antony’s Higher Secondary School lies at the heart of Plassanal, the land embedded with lush greenary and caressed by the Meenachil river in the borders. The school is located opposite to St.Mary’s Church Plassanal and next to the holy shrine of St.Antony,the hevenly patron of the school.

      This school is an Aided Higher Secondary School under Coporate Educational Agency, Diocese of Pala. The school began its journey in 1936, as an Upper Primary School, grew into full fledged High School in 1949 and upgraded into a Higher Secondary School in 1998.

     Our school which stands unique in its own right fosters the young minds to grow up imbibing truth and social values, thus enabling the learners to overcome the challenges, trials and tribulations in real life with confidence and pose. The institution holds fame for exemplerory performance offered by its assets, the students due to its fine infrastructure and devoted faculty.

      The year 1998, was a landmark in the annals of the school as it was upgraded as a Higher Secondary School. The beautiful building of Higher Secondary was built under the supervision of Rev.Fr.Thomas Vallavancott. The school celebrated its platinum jubilee in 2011 with variety of cultural programmes.
